Trackmobile Opts for SYSPRO Over Sage, QAD, Infor and Glovia. SYSPRO Integration, Product Configurator, Ease of Use Reasons for Selection.
COSTA MESA, Calif. - April 10, 2012 - SYSPRO, a developer of best-of-breed, award-winning enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for on-premise and cloud-based utilization, has today announced that Trackmobile, the leader in rail and rail car moving equipment, has selected SYSPRO ERP to automate processes and Web ordering.
According to Kathy Schoonover, Trackmobile Controller, SYSPRO was the only system that met all of the company's top requirements, which included a self-contained system with the capability of integrating outside databases, a system which offered a fully-integrated and comprehensive product configurator and one that could support a complex pricing structure. After looking at Infor, Sage, QAD and Glovia, Schoonover reports that SYSPRO was the only solution that met all criteria.
SYSPRO ERP will automate Trackmobile processes which are currently done manually. In addition, Trackmobile will utilize the highly sophisticated, rules-based SYSPRO Product Configurator to enable the company's distributor network to easily order equipment over the Web. Says Schoonover, "The SYSPRO software will also enable management to open their dashboards each morning to see the hot spots that need immediate attention. In addition, the managers will be able to graphically view efficiencies and weaknesses within their areas of responsibility."
